JEFFREY GREEN
Architectural & Interior Designer, Construction AdministratorPBH Construction, LP PBH Residential Care Homes
Jeffrey Green served as Vice-President, Architectural Designer, Interior Designer, and Construction Administrator for PBH Construction during the years of conception and development realization of PBH Residential Care Homes.
With an extensive educational background in architecture and more than 25 years of hands-on design and build experience, Jeffrey brought a fresh perspective to the PBH Construction and PBH Residential Care Homes team. Jeffrey's portfolio includes design and construction of new private residential homes, mixed-use developments, renovations of single-family and multi-family homes, commercial, retail and institutional spaces ranging from a few hundred square feet to 400,000 square feet.
With his pulse on the latest architectural and design trends, Jeffrey is able to foresee multiple possibilities and improvements to projects that may otherwise seem unsalvageable. His trademark is being able to turn what might be considered a "problem area" of a home into a unique and perfectly accented element of its overall design.
Jeffrey officially joined the PBH Construction team in 2009. For PBH Construction, LP and PBH Residential Care Homes, Jeffrey's responsibilities included site planning and due diligence, developing schematic designs and graphic visualizations, preparing design development packages, building 2D and 3D renderings, preparing and permitting construction drawings, providing client consultation as it relates to architecture, design and space-planning, and managing construction.
For PBH Residential Care Homes, Jeffrey's goal was to elevate the "later-in-life" experience for seniors through modern yet functional design, architectural solutions that invited natural light and an overall environment that makes residents proud of their surroundings. In order to apply the same careful thought and excitement many people have when designing for the youngest generation, Jeffrey was able to create special living spaces for our eldest generation by acquiring his credentials as a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) from the National Association of Home Builders.
Prior to joining PBH Construction and PBH Residential Care Homes, Jeffrey was an associate of The Preston Partnership, LLC team in Atlanta, Georgia. Since completion of his work with PBH Residential Care Homes, Jeffrey is currently employed as Director of Interiors by Hensley Lamkin Rachel, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. Previous other design experience includes projects with IMAGINE Group in Atlanta, Georgia, Michael Malone Architects, Inc. in Dallas, Texas and self-employment as Jeff Green Design.
Jeffrey's natural talents for design has earned him several prestigious recognitions, including a Rosser International Fellowship Award, a finalist of the 2000 – 2001 Otis/ACSA International Student Design Competition in Istanbul, Turkey, and a Presidential Scholarship Award.
Jeffrey earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture with a Minor in Spanish from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. While attending Baylor, he completed a cooperative program, studying one year at Washington University's Architectural Studio in St. Louis, Missouri. Jeffrey earned his Master of Architecture degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia.
When Jeffrey takes a break from his design projects, he loves spending time reading, traveling abroad and exploring other cultures. He also has a deep appreciation for art and independent films. Currently, Jeffrey is involved in the "fostering to adopt" program with children who long for and need a safe, stable, nurturing and loving home where they can thrive and become the best they can be. Jeffrey resides in Dallas with his rescue dog, Wally Green, whose life was miraculously saved in a Walgreen's parking lot.
